Based on the evidence presented by the Office of the Attorney General, judges imposed prison sentences against four men allegedly involved in different crimes that occurred in separate incidents in Cundinamarca.
The first case took place on November 5 in a residential complex in Guasca, where, in the middle of an argument, Andrés Felipe Cruz Salamanca allegedly hit and injured a 26-year-old man with a sharp weapon, causing his death.
On November 7 of this year, National Police officers went to the rural area of El Retiro in Soacha after hearing several gunshots. Upon arrival, they arrested Luis Evangelista Quintana Sánchez in flagrante delicto since moments before he had allegedly attacked a 30-year-old man with a firearm, causing his death.
In a third incident, Dilan Stik Mariño Campos was prosecuted as the alleged coperpetrator of a murder that took place on November 12, 2025, in Villa Sandra neighborhood in Soacha. The victim was allegedly shot and died due to the severity of the injuries.
The last case of homicide occurred on November 16 in Llano Verde neighborhood in Fusagasugá, where Yecid Macualo Barreto was riding a motorcycle and allegedly shot a 49-year-old man who was driving a pickup truck. He then fled the scene.
In this regard, prosecutors from the branch office in Cundinamarca (Seccional Cundinamarca) charged them, according to their individual responsibilities, with homicide, aggravated homicide, and manufacture, trafficking, possession of firearms, accessories, parts, or ammunition. The defendants did not plead guilty to the charges.
