The Attorney General’s Office brought Eduar Albehiro López Rosero to justice. He was allegedly involved in processing narcotics in El Paujil, rural area of Puerto Asís (Putumayo). 

A prosecutor appointed to the Immediate Reaction Unit (Unidad de Reacción Inmediata URI) of the branch office in Putumayo (Seccional Putumayo) charged him with trafficking substances for the processing of narcotics. The defendant did not plead guilty to the charges. 

During the search warrant conducted by the National Police and Army in the aforementioned area, López Rosero was arrested in fragante and was found with a sack containing 57 kilos of permanganate and potassium manganate, which was ready for the production of cocaine hydrochloride. 

Likewise, authorities seized 1,080 gallons of liquid permanganate, 715 gallons of sodium hypochlorite, 34 parcels of potassium hydroxide, and 30 bags of solid potassium permanganate. They also found 13 plastic containers, 4 blower machines, 1 power generator, and 1 electric mill. These were destroyed on-site. 

A house arrest measure was issued for López Rosero.
