Billy Jhon Robledo Roa, along with other armed men, allegedly took the victims to a highway and shot them several times. 

The evidence in possession of the Attorney General’s Office indicates that Billy Jhon Robledo Roa, alias Grone or Papá, the alleged armed leader of Edwin Román Velásquez Valle substructure of ‘Clan del Golfo’ is allegedly involved in the murder of social leaders Uber Eliécer Jaramillo Tapias and Ferdy Leandro Tapias, committed on August 6, 2022, in a rural area of Ituango (Antioquia). 

The victims, the president and a member of the communal action committee of rural area Quebrada el Medio in Ituango and beneficiaries of the National Comprehensive Program for the Substitution of Illicit Crops, were having a meeting with several residents of the area. Alias Grone and at least 10 of his subordinates allegedly interrupted the meeting, they asked for both men, took them to a road, and shot them several times. 

For this reason, a prosecutor appointed to the Special Investigation Unit charged Robledo Roa with aggravated homicide and manufacturing, trafficking, or possessing firearms, accessories, parts, or ammunition. He did not plead guilty to the charges. 

The defendant has been in prison since May of this year, as he was prosecuted for other criminal acts attributed to the ‘Clan del Golfo’ in the northern area of Antioquia.
