At the request of the Attorney General´s Office, a judge imposed a prison sentence on Brandon Alexis Solarte Escobar, who was allegedly found in possession of a firearm without a permit. 

A prosecutor appointed to the Immediate Reaction Unit (Unidad de Reacción Inmediata URI) of the branch office in Quindío (Seccional Quindío) charged him with manufacturing, trafficking, or possessing firearms, accessories, parts, or ammunition. The defendant did not plead guilty to the charges. 

This person was arrested in fragante during an inspection conducted by National Police  in Génova (Quindío). They allegedly found a long-range revolver (32 caliber) in one of the rubber boots that the defendant was wearing. 

Solarte Escobar allegedly tried to flee and fractured one of his legs, therefore, he was taken to a hospital.
