A prosecutor of the municipality of Turbaco (Bolívar) brought Patricio Manuel Luna Jiménez to justice for being allegedly responsible for the crimes of aggravated homicide and manufacturing, trafficking, or possessing firearms, accessories, parts, or ammunition. 

This person would be involved in facts that occurred on a road in La Sierra in Córdoba (Bolívar) on February 8. There, a 79-year-old man, traveling with his son in a vehicle, was intercepted by several men traveling on a motorcycle, one of them is currently being prosecuted. 

Apparently, Luna Jiménez shot at the elderly man, who died as a result of the attack. For these events, the defendant was arrested during a raid on a property located at San Isidro, in the jurisdiction of El Carmen de Bolívar (Bolívar). 

A joint work between the National Police and Navy led to the arrest of the suspect on June 21. 

The alleged 49-year-old hitman denied responsibility for the charges that were brought against him. According to the judicial decision, he must serve a prison sentence. 

The defendant did not plead guilty to the charges.
