In the municipality of Guacarí (Valle del Cauca), the Attorney General’s Office charged Juan David Patiño Gil and Juan Sebastián Hernández as the alleged responsible for being in possession of a grenade made in Brazil, a firearm, and narcotics.
For these facts, a prosecutor appointed to the branch office in Valle del Cauca charged them with illegal possession of weapons, ammunition for private use, ammunition for use by the Security Forces, or explosives; illegal possession of firearms; possession and trafficking of narcotics; and receiving stolen property.
The facts took place on May 1st in Guacarí, when National Police officers arrested defendants in fragrant, while they were riding a motorcycle that had been reported stolen.
During the operations, authorities seized a grenade, 13 cartridges of various calibers, and several quantities of narcotics such as marijuana and cocaine, as well as a motorcycle.
Judges approved the Attorney General’s Office request and sent the alleged perpetrators to prison.
