At the request of the Attorney General’s Office, a judge ordered a prison sentence against Yolimar Alfonso Garavito for her alleged responsibility in the crimes of criminal conspiracy and attempted extortion.

This woman was arrested by Gaula of the National Police, with the support of the Colombian Aerospace Force, in Tame (Arauca). The defendant did not plead guilty to the charges brought by a prosecutor appointed to the branch office in Casanare.

Furthermore, this woman was allegedly responsible for coordinating and preserving the security for the leaders of the illegal armed group and planning some extortions against merchants and ranchers in the region.
