The Attorney General’s Office brought two men to justice. They were caught with a stolen vehicle in Villapinzón (Cundinamarca). They are Kilmer Armando Bermúdez Cárdenas and Joaquín Galindo Vélez, who were arrested in flagrante delicto on April 22 in Tocancipá.
A timely alert from the satellite surveillance company allowed the National Police to recover the vehicle when the defendants allegedly attempted to flee along the road Tunja-Bogotá.
Both men allegedly broke the vehicle’s lock that was parked in front of its owner’s residence.
For these facts, the Office of the Attorney General informed about an indictment that was filed against both men for aggravated and qualified theft. A judge ordered a prison sentence.
The suspects did not plead guilty to the charges brought by the Office of the Attorney General.
