The Attorney General’s Office prosecuted six alleged members of ‘Los Zegas,’ a criminal group allegedly involved in the distribution and sale of narcotics in Parque Bolívar in Pasto (Nariño).

The people involved are: Jeison Luis Delgado Caicedo, Jhon Alexander Delgado Caicedo, Luis Alfredo Sevillano Castillo, Fátima Magdalena Quintero Carlosama, John Edison Jossa Castillo and Derwin Alberto Contreras Villanueva, who were charged with criminal conspiracy; manufacturing, trafficking, and possession of drugs; and aggravated supply to a minor.

In the concentrated hearings ‘audiencias concentradas’, they did not plead guilty to the charges, therefore, a judge ordered five of the defendants to be sent to prison. Quintero Carlosama was must serve house arrest.

According to the investigations, including an analysis of security cameras, 16 incidents were associated, and it was established that “Los Zegas” sold marijuana and bazuco to minors.

The evidence indicates that this group was creating insecurity scenarios through intimidation and fights in the area.

These people were arrested by the Technical Investigation Corps (CTI) with the support of Sijín- National Police. During the operation, doses of narcotics that were going to be sold at the recreational area were seized.
