A prosecutor appointed to the branch office in Chocó (Seccional Chocó) prosecuted Luis Camilo Mena Padilla, alias Mello, as the alleged perpetrator of aggravated homicide and trafficking in firearms, ammunition, and accessories.

The victim was Neber Cordero Rohatan, murdered on January 21, 2025, in Cuatro Esquinas area of ​Los Ángeles neighborhood in Quibdó (Chocó). For this crime, Mena Padilla is being prosecuted.

Analysis of security cameras in the area revealed the route taken by those allegedly involved in the crime in order to carry out the murder.

The evidence indicates that ‘Mello’ apparently belongs to Los Mexicanos criminal organization, a criminal network that operates in Rosales, Minuto de Dios, El Jardín, La Aurora, and Las Mercedes neighborhoods, among others, in Quibdó.

By the judge’s decision, alias El Mello must serve house arrest.
