A 48-year-old man, who took responsibility for the offense of aggravated femicide charged by the Office of the Attorney General, was sent to prison.
The facts under investigation took place on March 8 in a rural area of the municipality of Puerto Boyacá (Boyacá). The defendant allegedly attacked his 38-year-old wife with a sharp weapon, wounding her multiple times while she was resting with her minor son.
The severity of the injuries caused the victim’s death. National Police officers arrested the defendant in flagrante delicto thanks to the community’s help.
