The Attorney General’s Office brought the brothers Manuel Guillermo and Jackson García Pérez; and the sisters Andreína and Daniela Berrío Pérez, alias Las Mellas before a judge, for their alleged responsibility in the crime of trafficking, manufacturing or possession of narcotics.

The four defendants did not plead guilty to the charges and were sent to prison.

According to the investigation, these people, were allegedly involved in the storage and distribution of narcotics in La Candelaria neighborhood in Cartagena (Bolívar).

During home searches operations carried out by the National Police in the area, the defendants were arrested and more than 5 kilograms of marijuana, ready to be sold, and a scale machine were seized.
