At the request of the Attorney General’s Office, a judge issued a prison sentence against Mario Palacios Briceño, who would be involved in the murder of Dunny Alejandro Peña Leal, 45, in facts that occurred on January 18 in the municipality of Piedecuesta, Santander.
During the investigation it was established that Palacios Briceño, apparently, lived as a tenant at the victim’s house, whom he allegedly attacked with a sharp weapon on multiple occasions. Although Peña Leal was taken to the hospital by his relatives, he died due to the severity of his injuries.
