Juan Gildardo Chávez Quintero, allegedly involved in the illicit trade of narcotics in the municipality of Calima – Darién (Valle del Cauca), was sent to prison.

The defendant was arrested by Sijín of the National Police on January 16 in a house located at La Ciudadela neighborhood, during a home search. There, 19.8 grams of bazuco, 8.3 grams of cocaine and 200 grams of marijuana were seized, as well as plastic bags, a blender and a scale.

For these events, the Office of the Attorney General charged the defendant with trafficking, manufacturing or possession of narcotics. For his part, the judge ordered house arrest for the defendant, since he is a person with reduced mobility who uses a wheelchair.
