The Attorney General’s Office prosecuted Darwin Nieves Palomino for his alleged responsibility in a millionaire robbery in an apartment. The facts took place on December 27, 2023 in Valledupar (Cesar). Therefore, the man was charged with aggravated and qualified theft.

According to the investigation, the defendant, in the company of another person, broke into a property located in the north area of the city. At the place, they allegedly intimidated five people with firearms, gagged them, stripped them of jewelry and 260 million pesos in cash.

The moment when the two suspects fled the scene with the stolen items was recorded on security cameras. An arrest warrant which was issued on October 15 was served to Nieves Palomino in a prison in Valledupar where he is serving a sentence for another investigation.
