The Office of the Attorney General charged, before a judge, 13 alleged members of the so-called Los Sekhmet criminal group with trafficking, manufacture or possession of narcotics.
The investigation showed that this criminal network was involved in trafficking narcotics in the Villa Paz, Centro, Marsella, San Marcos neighborhoods in Barbosa; and near educational, sports environments, as well as the bus terminal.
Six search warrants that were carried out by the Technical Investigative Corps (Cuerpo Técnico de Investigación CTI in spanish), Police and the National Army in the municipality led to the seizure of narcotics, cell phones and elements for dosing illicit substances.
The defendants are: Pedro Eduardo Parra Malagón, Yordi Joset Arévalo Páez, Marlon Andrés Naranjo Tapias, Transito Marcela Martínez Mojica, Nilson Humberto Rodríguez Ariza, Luis Eduardo Jiménez Ortiz, Andrés Julián Ávila Peña, Fredy Alejandro Rodríguez Rivera, Juan Carlos Moncada Pérez, Eduard Orlando Fuentes Alvarado, Escarly Dayana Ramírez Alvarado, Enderson Rafael Fuentes de la Cruz and Cristian Alexis Bareño Duran.
None of them pleaded guilty to the charges brought by the Prosecutor’s Office and must serve a prison sentence.
