During the investigation, Fidel Borrero Solano, the victim’s former partner, and Rafael Antonio Puentes were brought before justice
At the request of the Sectional Office in Huila of the Attorney General’s Office, a judge in Neiva imposed a prison sentence on Alexis Sotelo Salas, apparently involved in the forced disappearance of a real estate agent, which occurred on March 1st in La Cabañita sector in the rural are Río Frío de Rivera (Huila).
Investigations proved that Sotelo Salas had contacted the businesswoman since February 20, 2024 to show him a property in which he pretended to be interested. Since then, the woman’s whereabouts are unknown. For these facts, the man was charged as the alleged perpetrator of forced disappearance.
Members of the Technical Investigation Corps (Cuerpo Técnico de Investigación CTI) in a joint work with Gaula of the National Army, arrested this person in the rural area of Alto Vilú in Yaguará (Huila).
The evidence provided by the Office of the Attorney General since the beginning of the investigation has allowed the prosecution of Fidel Borrero Solano, the victim’s former partner, and Rafael Antonio Puentes. Both were sent to prison after their arrest on June 13 in a public road in Neiva.
The suspect did not plead guilty to the charges.
