The Attorney General’s Office brought José Eduardo Quintero Ruíz to justice for his alleged responsibility in the crime of homicide. The facts took place on May 29 in Ocaña (Norte de Santander) at the so-called Mercado neighborhood, where two homeless people were allegedly attacked with a firearm.
The analysis of the videos obtained from the security cameras that was carried out by the Technical Investigation Corps (CTI), allowed to establish that the defendant allegedly participated in the facts by removing the license plate from the motorcycle used by the attacker and subsequently giving him access to the residence after the illegal act was committed.
The man was arrested on August 12, on a public street in Ocaña and he did not plead guilty to the charges brought by the Prosecutor’s Office. A judge imposed a prison sentence.
