The Prosecutor’s Office prosecuted four of the alleged members of the illicit network.
The joint work between a prosecutor of the Sectional Office in Huila and Sijín judicial police allowed the prosecution of four alleged members of the criminal group ‘La Saga’, for the crime of trafficking, manufacture or possession of drugs.
According to the investigation, the drug trafficking network, allegedly allocated several properties in Santa Isabel neighborhood, south area of the main city of Huila to store marijuana and bazuco since last January.
‘La Saga’ network allegedly distributed hallucinogens in personal doses at the so-called comuna 6. During search warrants that were carried out in five properties in Santa Isabel neighborhood, four cell phones, drugs, more than 5,000,000 COP in cash and elements used to measure doses were seized.
During the operations, the following people were arrested: Alberto Cabrera Lozano, alias El Viejo; Juan Pablo Guzmán Salcedo, alias Parolo or Totoy; Luz Mery Adames Paredes, alias Mery and; Brilly Vanessa Rodríguez Salcedo; alias Brilly.
A judge approved the request made by the Prosecutor’s Office and imposed prison sentences against four defendants, who did not plead guilty to the charges that were brought by the Office of the Attorney General.
