The Attorney General’s Office prosecuted two men who were arrested in burglary cases that took place in Buenaventura (Valle del Cauca).
- Jhon Esteban Valenzuela Camacho was arrested after he entered a house in Playita neighborhood through a skylight. A 72-year-old woman was living there, and money and jewelry valued at nearly 5 million COP were stolen. National Police located the person after having committed the crime and found a bag in which he was transporting the stolen items.
- Rison Enrique Guerrero was sent to prison for his alleged responsibility in the commission of burglary. The man entered through the roof of the building and took jewelry. The police arrived at the scene just as he was preparing to leave and recovered the items valued at 7 million COP.
Sectional prosecutors charged the defendants with aggravated burglary and damage to a third-part property. Both men were sent to prison by judges in Buenaventura.
