The evidence presented by the Attorney General’s Office was enough for a judge to sentence Brayan Camilo Martínez Capador, alias Papuchis, to 23 years, 11 months and 20 days in prison, after being found responsible for the murder of a young man that took place on September 20, 2018 in the Ecoparaíso Shanty town in Ibagué (Tolima).

The Prosecutor’s Office proved his responsibility for the crimes of aggravated homicide and manufacturing, trafficking, and possession of firearms or ammunition.

It was possible to prove that the homicide occurred in the fight to maintain the control of drug trafficking in the area, since the defendant belonged to a criminal organization known as Los Papuchis that had its distribution center in the Ecoparaíso and La Gaviota sectors of the city.
