After assessing the evidence presented by the Attorney General’s Office, a judge imposed a detention measure against three people accused of trafficking, manufacturing, or possession of narcotics.

According to the investigation, this illegal activity was carried out since 2021 in San Cristóbal in Bogotá.

The defendants, alleged members of the criminal organization known as ‘Los Guacamayos’, apparently stored large quantities of marijuana in their residence and used a taxi to transport and sell it.

In the search warrants, 93 pounds of marijuana, cocaine, cash, and other items were seized and are being analyzed within the investigation.

In addition, Karen Elena Vargas Ochoa, Edward Javier Corredor Lamprea, Juan Diego Corredor Vargas and Jimmy Alexander Cardozo Cediel were arrested. They did not plead guilty to the charges brought against them by the Prosecutor’s Office during the preliminary hearings.
