Based on the evidence presented by prosecutors of the Sectional Office in Meta, judges send two men to prison as allegedly responsible for two homicides in isolated facts in the Department.
The first case took place on July 23, when Ronaldo Andrés Cárdenas Daza apparently attacked a man with a firearm who died on a public street in La Rosita neighborhood in Villavicencio.
Cárdenas Daza was arrested on November 24 in the La Colina neighborhood by virtu of a court order and the Prosecutor’s Office charged him with aggravated homicide and illegal possession of firearms. Charges were not accepted.
In another fact that took place on July 9, Jhon David Feliciano Barragán apparently wounded the victim with a firearm when he was near the Municipal Library in Acacias. The injured man was taken to a hospital where he survived.
The alleged aggressor was arrested downtown Acacias and the Prosecutor’s Office charged him with attempted homicide and illegal possession of firearms.
Feliciano Barragán is also investigated for the death of two other people that occurred in July and September of this year.
The arrests were carried out by CTI of the Prosecutor’s Office with the support of the National Police.
