Investigators from the Technical Investigation Corps (Cuerpo Técnico de Investigación CTI), Surveillance Police and the National Army, arrested a 52-year-old man in Ibagué (Tolima), who is wanted by a court in Icononzo (Tolima) after being found responsible of attacking his sentimental partner´s children.
The facts occurred on April 26, 2021 in the rural area of Santuario de Icononzo, when he beat up the 10- and 13-year-old children. The investigation allowed to determine that the couple constantly exposed minors to all kinds of physical, verbal and psychological abuse.
In the next few days there will be a hearing to know the sentence that must be served for the crime of domestic violence that was charged by the Prosecutor’s Office. The minors´s mother is also wanted for the same facts.
