The joint work of the Attorney General’s Office and the National Police, allowed the prosecution of Mauricio Armando González Iriarte, 25, who would be involved in a robbery in Barranquilla.
A judge from Barranquilla approved the conclusive evidence presented by the Prosecutor’s Office and imposed an intramural measure against the defendant.
The events were carried out on November 28 downtown the main city.
The defendant, apparently, attacked the 18-year-old boy 7 times with a knife when he tried to steal a cell phone. However, the victim, who practices mixed martial arts, defended himself from the violent attack.
The prosecutor charged the alleged aggressor with attempted aggravated homicide and theft. He did not plead guilty.
