After approving a preliminary agreement between the Attorney General’s Office and the defendant’s defense, a judge sentenced Héctor José Solórzano Solórzano to 16 years in prison for conspiracy to commit a crime, trafficking, manufacturing or possession of drugs and manufacturing, trafficking, possession of firearms, accessories, parts or ammunition.

According to the investigations, Solórzano Solórzano, a member of a criminal group, accepted his responsibility for the distribution of illicit substances in small quantities, that were sold on the shore of Arauca River or  Forum de los Libertadores sector, using third parties for the delivery. The events occurred during the year 2019.

The convicted person was arrested by virtue of a court order in a home search  carried out by the National Police on September 12, 2019, in the city of Arauca. From that date he has been deprived of his liberty in a prison.
