After the evidence was presented by a sectional prosecutor from Tierralta, the municipal judge of Los Córdobas issued a prison sentence against Edward Alejandro Graciano Berrío for the crime of trafficking, manufacturing, or possession of drugs.
The defendant, who did not plead guilty to charges, was arrested in flagrante delicto by Army officers on April 30, on the road that leads from Tierralta to Puerto Frasquillo, in the sector known as the Y.
According to the Office of the Attorney General Graciano Berrio was riding a motorcycle and when he was inspected at a checkpoint, 356 grams of cocaine and derivatives were allegedly found.
The narcotic, apparently, was transported in a black money pouch and was going to be distributed for micro-trafficking in the place.
