At the request of the Office of the Attorney General, a judge imposed a prison sentence against three alleged members of the illegal organization Los Mantarrayas.

They are Yan Carlos Palomeque Martínez, John Neiler Palomeque Dediego and Karen Biviana Cortés Álvarez, who were charged as alleged perpetrators of the crimes of trafficking, manufacture or possession of drugs; conspiracy to commit a crime and murder.

According to the investigations, the criminal group would be involved in at least three homicides perpetrated between October 19, 2020 and last May 9. The facts allegedly occurred in neighborhoods Los Robles and Los Oasis de Soacha, in the municipality of Soacha (Cundinamarca).

The investigation also indicates that the alleged members of the illegal structure apparently were involved in the commercialization of narcotics in neighborhoods Los Robles, Oasis, La Isla and Comuna 4 in Cazucá.
