A sentence of 10 years and 2 months in prison was pronounced against Ismael Antonio García Delgado, responsible for the crime of attempted femicide of his former partner.
The facts took place in January 2019 in Puerto López (Meta) when the defendant arrived at the house where he lived with his sentimental partner in a state of inebriation. According to the proceedings, the woman was attacked in the neck with a pointed weapon by García Delgado.
In the conviction, the court denied any type of alternative sentence for the convicted person, such as stay of execution or house arrest, as a substitute for imprisonment.
This sentence became final.
