At the request of the Sectional Prosecutor´s Office of the Immediate Reaction Unit (URI)*, the 36-year-old Fernando Bolaños was sentenced to a term of imprisonment.

The defendant is accused of being the alleged responsible for the death of his 44 year-old  former couple Luz Figye Rodriguez Barriga and his 14 year-old stepdaughter. The facts took place on December 23rd in the south east of Villavicencio (Meta).

This situation would have arisen when the man, who lived with the victims for 12 years, arrived at home with a firearm and forced the door and then he shot at these two people.
