The Office of the Attorney General arrested José Hugo Chaux Cuéllar; his wife, Luz Stella González Cuéllar; and his son, José Hugo Chaux González, alleged frontmen of the 16th front of the organization.
In judicial proceedings carried out in Bogotá, the Office of the Attorney General and Dijin of the National Police arrested three members of a family accused of hiding between 2001 and 2016, illegal assets and money obtained by the 16th front of the then Eastern bloc of the demobilized Farc.
According to evidence collected by the Delegate Office on Financial Crimes of the Office of the Attorney General, José Hugo Chaux Cuéllar; his wife, Luz Stella González Cuéllar; and his son, José Hugo Chaux González, bought properties in Meta and Guaviare amounting more than 10 billion pesos.
