The Office of the Attorney General and the National Institute of Legal medicine were able to establish full identification of the 9 year-old girl through a genetic test and to know detailed information about her murder.
The case of the 9-year-old GR, which has caused national rejection, has been a priority for the Office of the Attorney General.
In this sense, the National Institute of Legal Medicine formed an interdisciplinary group composed of a medical examiner, anthropologist and a geneticist who determined the identification of a 9-year-old child who was murdered in Fundación (Magdalena) and established causes of death.
