At the request of the Office of the Attorney General, Sijin (National Police) arrested the current mayor of San Juan de Betulia (Sucre) and two of his employees for alleged irregular practices in the execution of contracts intended to assist senior citizens.
According to an investigation conducted by the Sectional Prosecutor´s Office in Sucre, the mayor of San Juan de Betulia (Sucre) signed contracts with Feysalud foundation in order to assist senior citizens. This appeared not to be the right institution to fulfill this task.
