At the request of the Office of the Attorney General, the 40th Criminal Court in Bogotá (Guarantee Court) issued a preventive detention order against former magistrate of the Supreme Court and the Superior Council for the Judiciary, Francisco Javier Ricaurte Gómez.
Former official will be brought to trial for the alleged commission of aggravated criminal conspiracy (author), two offenses of active bribery as intervening party, influence peddling and misuse of official information as intervening party.
