Alleged members of an international child pornography network were sent to prison

At the request of the Office of the Attorney General, the 65^th Criminal Court (Guarantee Court) sent seven people to prison. They allegedly belonged to a criminal network engaged in child pornography with minors via internet in Europe and several countries of Latin America.

According to an investigation conducted by Spanish authorities, the National Police and the Special Prosecutor´s Office against Criminal Organizations, the arrested people produced, revealed and collected money to exhibit child and adult pornography.

To this end, the alleged criminals used private internet applications containing illegal content.

Thanks to investigations conducted by the Unit against Child Sexual Exploitation via Internet – Technological Investigations Unit of the Spanish National Police (in spanish Unidad de Investigaciones Tecnológicas de la Policía Nacional de España), an anonymous TOR network liaison was detected.
