Based on the evidence presented by the Office of the Attorney General and the National Police, the 47th Court (guarantee court) in Bogotá made the decision to issue preventive detention orders with imprisonment in El Buen Pastor and La Modelo prisons in Bogotá for eight people who were brought before the court. They were charged with criminal conspiracy, terrorism, attempted and aggravated murder, illegal possession of firearms and explosives (one of them) and forgery of a public document (two of them).
After the judge legalized home searches and detentions, he/she made a decision which involved Boris Ernesto Rojas, “Boris” or “Mao”; Andrés Mauricio Bohórquez Flores, “El Calvo”; Lizeth Johanna Rodríguez Zárate, “Japo”; Lina Vanessa Jiménez Numpaque, “Mestiza”; Cesar Andrés Barrera Téllez, “Barbas”; Juan Camilo Pulido Rivera, “Visajes”; Alejandra Méndez Molano, “Aleja” and Natalia Trujillo Novoa, “Natalia”.
According to judge´s arguments, there is a group, self-denominated Movimiento Revolucionario del Pueblo, which threatens the democratic regime since this group installs low explosives putting citizen’s life and freedom at risk.
