111 months in prison to be served by virtue of a preliminary agreement
At the request of the Office of the Attorney General, false witness, Juvenal Serna Amaris, alias “Blacho” was sentenced to 9 years and 2 months in prison thanks to a preliminary agreement. He was charged with procedural fraud and perjury.
The defendant testified under oath before the Supreme Court against retired admiral Gabriel Arango Bacci in a case of alleged links with drug trafficking. However there was not evidentiary material supporting those accusations. On the contrary, the Court acquitted him of charges.
