Office of the Attorney General investigates murder of a U.S citizen who died in a cosmetic surgery in a clinic in the city of Cali (Valle del Cauca)

The woman´s friend, who also traveled in order to have plastic surgery, is recovering in a clinic

Cristine Ann Deras, a citizen from Jackson, Florida (United States) died as a result of a cosmetic surgery which took place in a clinic located in the city of Cali (Valle del Cauca).

She went into the operating room at 7:30 and according to inquiries, she died at noon when she was recovering from the surgery. It seems she suffered a pulmonary embolism.

Deras arrived in Cali (Valle) on April 30 with a friend who also had a cosmetic surgery.
