Alleged murderer of a social leader of the so called “Comuna 13” neighborhood in Medellín (Antioquia) was arrested

Sijin (National Police) and the Criminal Investigation Team (CTI) of Medellin arrested alias “Talibán” (21 years old) and alias “Macario”(21 years old) for being the alleged co-authors of the murder of community leader Ruth Alicia López Guisado which took place in march this year.

The 32 year old victim was shot by hitmen on March 2 at Olaya Herrera neighborhood located in the so called Comuna 13 neighborhood in Medellin.

The arrested people were part of a criminal organization known as “Carlos Pesebre” whose ringleader was sentenced to 36 years in prison for murder offenses.
