Three individuals were arrested for alleged irregular practices in the execution of contracts with the Colombian Family Welfare Institute (Instituto Colombiano de Bienestar Familiar – ICBF)

“Bolsillos de Cristal” Plan *

The Criminal Investigation Team (CTI)- Crimes against Public Administration arrested three individuals who were allegedly involved in the commission of a contract with the  Colombian Family Welfare Institute (Instituto Colombiano de Bienestar Familiar – ICBF) on food supply for children under 5 years old, pregnant and nursing mothers in Santa Marta (Magdalena).

As a result of an operation, a contractor and legal representative of the company that executed the contract Fundación Club Juvenil del Sur, were arrested. Likewise, a woman and a man who were the food suppliers were arrested.

These proceedings were conducted by virtue of an order issued by the 6^th Municipal Court in Santa Marta at the request of the Sectional Prosecutor´s Office- Crimes against Public Administration.
