Office of the Attorney General and Office of the Inspector General appealed decision concerning public servants for irregular activities detected in an agreement with País Rural in the city of Meta

Office of the Attorney General and the Office of the Inspector General appealed decision made by 2^nd Municipal Criminal Court (also with functions of a “Guarantee Court”)* in Villavicencio (Meta) in which a non-custodial sentence was issued for two public servants of the Governor´s Office in Meta for irregular activities detected in an agreement between “Corporacion Red País Rural”and “Administración Seccional” in 2013 in Meta.

This measure was issued against former Secretary of Agro-economic Development, Daniel Santiago Salazar Uribe and former legal adviser of Alan Jara´s government, Carlos Emilio Romero Gómez.

* In this case this court also has an additional function which is called in Spanish “ambulante” which means a judge/court who travels or moves throughout places/cities when needed.
