Within the framework of the so called “Bolsillos de Cristal” plan, 38 people were arrested this week for corruption offenses

The Office of the Attorney General conducted 10 operations against corruption last week and as a result, 38 people were arrested in the Departments of Bolívar, Atlántico, Córdoba, Cundinamarca, Putumayo, Sucre, Magdalena and Valle del Cauca.

The highest number of arrests took place in the Department of Bolivar since they amounted to 10, followed by 9 in Atlántico, 8 in Valle del Cauca, 6 in Sucre, 2 in Córdoba and 1 in Cundinamarca, Putumayo and Magdalena, respectively.

• “Bolsillos de Cristal” is a plan which was promoted by the Office of the Attorney General in Colombia in order to fight against corruption.
