Preventive detention orders were issued for alleged illegal smuggling of foreign citizens into Panamá

As a result of operations that were conducted in Medellín and Turbo (Antioquia), as well as Cali (Valle del Cauca) by members of Dijin – National Police, 10 people responsible for illegally smuggling people from Ecuador into Panamá were arrested.

Preventive detention orders with imprisonment were issued for Jhon Arley Ramírez, Roxana Parra, Jhon Fredy Ibargüen, Marisobeth Ibargüen, Jean Carlos Impacapie and Wilson Córdoba.

On the other hand, preventive detention orders with home arrest were issued for Yuliana Mosquera, Luis Alberto Moreno, César Augusto Abello and Jhon Jairo Palacios. This decision was made by the 27th Municipal Court in Medellin with supervisory functions (control de garantías).
