Attorney General, Néstor Humberto Martínez Neira, held a meeting at the Office of the Attorney General Headquarters with the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Zeid Ra´ad Al Hussein, in order to talk about challenges the Office of the Attorney General must face concerning Final Agreement on conflict ending.
Important topics stood out: the first one was the labor carried out by the Special Investigation Unit to Dismantle Criminal Organizations against those which are involved in murders, massacres or threaten human rights defenders, social movements or politic movements. The second one was prioritization “priorización” of investigations on murders of human rights defenders and also progresses on investigations related to threats against them.
