After approving a plea bargain between the Office of the Attorney General and the defendant´s lawyer, the 27th Circuit Court in Medellín sentenced Carlos Albeiro Vélez Patiño to 12 years in prison for the murder of Norberto de Jesús Seguro Piedrahita, alias Cachambú.
The victim disappeared on December 10, 2011 from the so called neighborhood Belén Altavista and three days later, his corpse was found with gunshot wounds in a grave located in a sector known as Las Lágrimas.
