On August 30th, the National Division for Victims and Citizens Assistance (Subdirección Nacional de Atención a Víctimas y Usuarios) from the Attorney General’s Office participated in the commemoration of the International Day of Victims of Forced Disappearance, in compliance with Law 1408, 2010.
This Law, which pays tribute to victims of forced disappearance, allowed to carry out the event which was was planned by the so called movement “Movice” (Movement of Victims of State Crimes) and “Otras voces” (Other Voices) as part of the trust-building process with these organizations.
