Within the framework of the transparency plan and struggle against corruption, the Attorney General, Néstor Humberto Martínez Neira, and the National Civil Registrar, Juan Carlos Galindo, launched a plan for a transparent plebiscite, which will be operating before, during and after the democratic event that will take place on October 2nd.
As part of the anti-corruption and citizen services plan, different tools were at the Colombian citizens’ disposal. These are a phone line, a website from the Office of the Attorney General and social networks with the aim of increasing the levels of transparency and facilitate the process of receiving complaints about corruption that may arise in the plebiscite voting process.
For any complaint, there is a direct line Bogotá 57 (1) 5702047 and a free line 018000-934004 (24 hours service) or at any headquarters throughout the country. Also via email plebiscito@fiscalia.gov.co and social networks @fiscaliacol with hashtag: #PlebiscitoTransparente. Also through the Attorney General’s Office web page www.fiscalia.gov.co.
