The Prosecutor´s Office in Buga is conducting an investigation in regards to an alleged attack against a Human Rights adviser

A prosecutor for “Actos Urgentes”* coordinates an investigation in a case of an alleged attack against Luis Fernando Quintero Franco, a Human Rights adviser assigned to the National Foundation for Development (Fundación Nacional para el Desarrollo (Funde)). This fact took place in rural area of Guadalajara de Buga (Valle del Cauca) last weekend.

Facts took place in a rural settlement of Monterrey, in a small town known as La Magdalena when he and his bodyguard were aboard an armored vehicle which enabled them to come out uninjured.

*A term used to refer to judicial police activities during investigation and questioning process such as: processing a crime scene, corpse examination, questionings or interviews, among others.
