CTI members supported by Dijin and Sijin investigators arrested in Turbo (Antioquia) 25 alleged members of a criminal organization known as Guantámo which was engaged in financing human smuggling.
According to monitoring activities and wiretappings it was possible to establish that large amounts of money were sent from the United States, Panamá and other Centro American countries to people that were in charge of paying migrant´s accommodation expenses in this coastal region.
