After Deputy Attorney, María Paulina Riveros and the Minister of Education, Gina Parody, held a meeting, the Office of the Attorney General and the Ministry of Education agreed to create a technical board to strengthen and promote those criminal proceedings which are related to alleged corruption acts that can affect children and teenagers’ education in Colombia.
This technical board will allow the monitoring and follow-up of the validation processes of those qualifications earned in foreign countries which are conducted before the Ministry of Education in Colombia. This measure was adopted due to recent cases of alleged false documents submitted to the Ministry of Education and the alleged participation of a public servant working at this Ministry.
